System Verdict
This is an extremely potent, well-built vitamin C serum that earns its power but will absolutely torch sensitive or barrier-impaired skin if you’re not careful. Efficacy is high because you’re getting a clinically relevant 22% pure ascorbic acid plus 2% ethyl ascorbyl ether in a water-free, mostly-solvent base, correctly supported by S Tier antioxidants ferulic acid and tocopherol for stability and anti-aging, and further buffered with soothing madecassoside and glutathione; the only reasons this doesn’t hit S Tier 5.0 are the very high total acid load (irritation risk), absence of documented gentle pH optimization data, and lack of barrier lipids or strong humectant network beyond glycols, so performance is outstanding for brightening and antioxidant protection but not universally tolerable.
