This is a well-formulated, peptide-boosted BHA gel cleanser that cleans effectively without wrecking your barrier, but most of the fancy actives are marketing fluff in a rinse-off format. As a cleanser, its efficacy score is high because it uses gentle surfactants (sarcosinate + ampho surfactants), includes 0.5% salicylic acid for on-contact anti-acne benefit, and has humectants and film-formers that reduce dryness; however, peptides, niacinamide, and anti-pollution claims are largely limited by short contact time, so they cannot be scored as full treatment-level actives.
