This is a legit S Tier retinol barrier cream in a mid-range price, but the heavy, potentially comedogenic base makes it a bad idea for clog-prone skin. Efficacy is high because you get true retinol plus a fully fleshed-out ceramide–cholesterol–fatty-acid barrier system, humectants (glycerin, hyaluronate, NMF components), and antioxidants in a fragrance-free, night-friendly cream base, but I’m docking points for likely moderate retinol strength in a very occlusive vehicle loaded with Isopropyl Palmitate and waxes that limit suitability to dry, non-acneic skins.
