System Verdict
This is a very competent, balm-textured cleansing oil that removes makeup well, but the overloaded "hydrating/soothing" actives are mostly marketing in a rinse-off step plus the added fragrance slightly dents its gentleness. Efficacy is driven by a solid emollient + surfactant system (cetyl ethylhexanoate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, PEG-20 glyceryl triisostearate, PEG-10 isostearate) that will reliably dissolve sunscreen and long-wear makeup, while the many forms of hyaluronic acid, centella, tea tree, licorice and ceramide NP are present in a cleanser context where contact time is short and post-rinse residue minimal, so they do not justify treatment-level claims.
