System Verdict
Exceptionally smart barrier-support moisturizer with one major flaw: the heavy use of comedogenic Isopropyl Myristate makes this risky for acne-prone skin despite an otherwise S Tier barrier and peptide formula. The efficacy score is high because glycerin, squalane, a 1% dermo-mimetic ceramide NP complex, multiple additional ceramides, Matrixyl 3000 peptides, and a full NMF amino acid/PCA blend are placed well in the INCI and supported by a lipid matrix, giving genuine barrier repair and anti-aging benefits in a lightweight emulsion. However, the presence of Isopropyl Myristate very high in the list (likely >3–5%) plus several rich esters pushes this into pore-clogging territory for many, so despite S Tier ceramides and A Tier peptides, I’m capping efficacy below “clinical optimal” and docking safety for acne-prone users.
