System Verdict
Nice lip-cushioning balm with modest science-backed plumping, but the 'booster' claims are oversold for what is mostly a petrolatum/wax stick. Efficacy sits in the solid-but-not-spectacular range: the occlusive base (petrolatum, polyisobutene, beeswax) will reliably reduce transepidermal water loss and soften lips, while the S Tier humectant sodium hyaluronate and A Tier peptides (palmitoyl tripeptide‑1, palmitoyl tripeptide‑38) are present only in the lower INCI positions, suggesting sub‑1% levels that give mild long‑term support rather than dramatic volume. Ultra Filling Spheres™ (hyaluronate + konjac) can give a temporary plump in a high-occlusive environment, but this is a surface hydration effect, not structural lip enlargement. Overall, you get good cushioning, short‑term smoothing and some incremental anti‑aging benefits, but nothing close to a true treatment serum for lines.
