Clinically strong, minimalist BHA workhorse with near-optimal pH and no fluff — this is a very effective, technically sound exfoliant for congestion and pores. The formula delivers a full 2% salicylic acid in a simple, well-designed solvent system (methylpropanediol + butylene glycol) at an exfoliation-appropriate pH of ~3.2–3.8, so you get true leave-on BHA performance for blackheads, breakouts, and texture rather than marketing-level traces. Green tea adds modest antioxidant and soothing support, but there are no extra keratolytics or brightening actives beyond BHA, which keeps efficacy focused squarely on exfoliation and acne/oil control. The short INCI and solvent-heavy base mean penetration is excellent and layering is easy, but you must rely on your moisturizer/serum for barrier repair and hydration.
