System Verdict
This is a very well-structured, gentle surfactant system with nice soothing extras, but the headline azelaic acid is pure marketing at 31 ppm and the multiple acids plus tea tree oil make the formula more aggressive than it pretends to be. Efficacy-wise, it deserves credit for an amino-acid/alkyl glucoside surfactant blend, BHA (salicylic acid) that can work on contact in a cleanser, some PHA/AHA support, and barrier helpers (ceramides, HA complex, centella), but the azelaic acid is far below any evidence-based leave-on dose, and being in a rinse-off on top of that means its claimed azelaic benefits are negligible; overall that justifies a solid but not elite score for an acne/redness-targeted cleanser.
