This is a very occlusive, nicely cushioning lip mask that excels at sealing in moisture, but its ‘vitamin C berry treatment’ claims are mostly marketing fluff rather than true S Tier lip repair. Efficacy is driven by a dense wax/oil matrix (diisostearyl malate, hydrogenated polyisobutene, polybutene, shea and murumuru butters) that forms a long‑lasting film, with just a small water/humectant phase and low-position antioxidants like ascorbic acid and fruit juices that are unlikely to deliver meaningful treatment beyond basic antioxidant support. Ascorbic acid is present but buried near the bottom of the INCI in a jar packaging, making it a weak, unstable brightening/repair active here (C Tier) while the true strengths are classic emollients and occlusives (A Tier) rather than sophisticated barrier-actives or clinically proven healing agents. Safety is generally good but not perfect: fragrance, colorants, BHT, and strong occlusion can be mildly irritating or comedogenic around the mouth for some, so this is more of a comfortable luxury occlusive than a genuinely advanced treatment.
