System Verdict
Decent hybrid SPF filters with a very fragranced, old-school base that keeps this Lakme sunscreen firmly in "functional but not skin-friendly" territory. Efficacy is solid thanks to a mix of UVB filters (ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, phenylbenzimidazole sulfonic acid) plus zinc oxide/titanium dioxide for broad coverage, but there is no modern UVA workhorse like Tinosorb or Uvinul and niacinamide/allantoin sit mid-list as nice extras rather than powerhouse actives. The safety score drops due to heavy fragrance (multiple allergens) and the use of DMDM hydantoin, making it less suitable for sensitive or barrier-compromised skin despite otherwise reasonably standard sunscreen chemistry.
