System Verdict
Potent but spiky: excellent S Tier 10% L‑ascorbic acid in a very alcohol-heavy, fragranced base that trades gentleness for fast absorption and ‘feel’. Efficacy is high because pure ascorbic acid is second on the INCI and buffered with potassium hydroxide to an active pH plus backed by tocopherol, hyaluronic acid and a soothing peptide, but the presence of denatured alcohol in the top 5 and fragrance plus BHA makes this closer to a 4.3/5 workhorse than a gold-standard 4.5–5/5, especially for sensitive or barrier-compromised skin.
