System Verdict
Barrier-soothing workhorse, not sexy—but clinically solid and extremely safe for a compromised skin barrier. Its efficacy score is driven by a heavy occlusive base (hydrogenated polyisobutene, dimethicone, shea butter) plus meaningful humectants (glycerin, panthenol) and repair-supporting minerals/actives (zinc gluconate, copper gluconate, madecassoside), but capped below S Tier because there are no true advanced barrier lipids (ceramides/cholesterol), no sophisticated delivery systems, and most of the ‘fancy’ actives sit below the main film-formers and humectants, making this a very good but not clinically-optimized formula for barrier repair.
