System Verdict
This is a basic foaming cleanser with a bit of BHA that cleans well but is too fragranced and somewhat harsh for sensitive or barrier-compromised skin. Efficacy-wise, it does its core job: surfactant fatty acids (myristic, lauric, palmitic, stearic) plus alkalizing potassium hydroxide create a classic soap-like foam that removes oil and debris, and salicylic acid (S Tier, contact-active) adds real acne/exfoliation benefit even in rinse-off format, but there is no true Vitamin C active and the base leans more stripping than barrier-supporting. Safety-wise, multiple fragrance allergens (fragrance, linalool, limonene, benzyl salicylate, benzyl alcohol — all D Tier for sensitive skin) and a relatively alkaline, fatty-acid-soap system make this a poor choice for rosacea, eczema, or compromised skin despite the presence of glycerin.
