This is a strong barrier moisturizer with real skin-supporting depth, but the fragrance keeps it from being truly optimal. The efficacy score lands in the high 4s because the base is well-built for hydration and barrier repair: glycerin, squalane, urea, sodium PCA, sodium hyaluronate, ceramide NG, phytosterols, linoleic acid, and phospholipids give it a genuinely substantive moisture-replenishing system, while the peptide and hydroxyproline ingredients add some credible firming support. I’m docking it for the presence of fragrance/parfum, which adds avoidable irritation risk, and because the anti-aging signal is supportive rather than maximal; this is an excellent moisturizer, not a treatment cream.
