Great barrier-focused gel for oily skin, but the inclusion of highly comedogenic isopropyl myristate keeps this from being a “perfect” oil-control formula. The efficacy score is high because it delivers proven actives (niacinamide likely in the 2–4% range, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, and a full ceramide–cholesterol–phytosphingosine system in a light gel-cream base that can genuinely support the barrier while offering mattifying starch; I deducted points because there are no true sebum-regulating actives beyond niacinamide and silica/corn starch, and because the emollient system uses isopropyl myristate, which undermines the oil-control/anti-clogging positioning for very acne-prone users.
