System Verdict
Genuinely gentle surfactant base sabotaged by a loud essential-oil cocktail that adds irritation risk with zero cleansing benefit. Efficacy-wise this is a well-built, low-harshness cleanser using mild taurate, isethionate, betaine and glucoside surfactants that will clean face, body, and hair without the stripping associated with SLS or olefin sulfonates, but it offers no meaningful skincare actives beyond basic cleansing so performance tops out at a solid but unremarkable level. Safety is dragged down by rosemary, cedarwood, fir, cypress oils and limonene (all S Tier for scent, D Tier for sensitivity), which materially increase irritant and allergy risk, especially on the face or for children, in an otherwise thoughtfully formulated base.
